Some boring facts: In 2005, Tony Blair won an election. Then he quit in 2007 and everybody’s favourite Gordon Brown took over. He then shockingly didn’t win in 2010 but neither did anyone else, so the other two parties formed a weird coalition so that they could both go back on their election promises and blame each other about it. I’m not saying a dictatorship is better of course, just that as far as democracies go it would be nice to have an elected leader in charge once a decade or so.

Oh, Australia. I love you but sometimes your government just goes Full Retard. Like the way you guys aren’t supposed to have grown-up video games, what’s up with that? It’s almost as outrageous as the number of inaccurate cultural stereotypes in this cartoon.

This is a real thing that they've been rolling out in the UK for a while. For the country that can claim George Orwell, my homeland is spectacularly good at missing the point of everything he wrote about. DYStopia, people. DYS. That's the bad one.

David Blunkett

This guy is such a douche. He was the one pushing for British people (of which I am one) to all carry I.D. cards which carry fingerprints and retina scans. ALso you are not just issued them, they would cost (last time I checked) about £200. The good news is they would be optional. The bad news is, you would need one to work, drive a car or leave the country. Also when I went to university it cost about £1000 a year, so 3 grand-ish total. About 2 years after it jumped to about £20,000, and who even knows what it's at now. That was Blunkett's fault too. I don't know why he's talking out of his hand in this cartoon.
