It’s that time of year again, everybody. I am of course referring to the return of no-one’s favourite recurring character, GHOST CRAB. People seemed to be generally positive about last week’s 50 comic extravaganza, so I want to make sure I squander all that good will right away.

The webcomic scene is a pretty crowded one these days, and it is important to keep your audience happy to maintain a consistent readership. If, for example, you receive positive feedback for a certain character you introduce, you might want to think about expanding their role to draw in potentially valuable new readers. If, on the other hand, you create a character that everyone unanimously despises and is very vocal about telling you so, you would be wise to phase that character out. Do not, under any circumstances, keep bringing that character back again and again, making them more asinine each time.
When you do this, all you are doing is annoying your audience which, even though it may be quite funny to you personally (and it will be) is very disrespectful and extremely bad practice.
One day I will get around to making shirts available on this site, and at the start the only one you’ll be able to get will be of GHOST CRAB.
The pencil sketch is of Rod Blagojevich by the way. This cartoon was universally hated, but I kind of love it. It’s way better than “X-Men: Origins”, which was worse than being beaten to death with a turd by Hitler.
