This is, I believe, the only Deed the Inky cartoon that has a swastika in it. I can still remember drawing that swastika; it felt weird.
The pencil sketch is of Rod Blagojevich by the way. This cartoon was universally hated, but I kind of love it. It’s way better than “X-Men: Origins”, which was worse than being beaten to death with a turd by Hitler.
Oh, the Old White Dude. History’s underdog. One day, their time will come. One day they will no longer suffer on the sidelines, treated like second-class citizens and denied their place in society. I’m pretty sure this is exactly what Malcolm X was talking about.
